A large digital wall reinforces the calming tone of the space with serene landscapes inspired by Carolina’s own heritage and visual identity, subtly tying the environment back to our brand.

No longer just a patient room, The Patient Suite is thoughtfully designed to serve the needs of patients, caregivers, and family care partners alike. Utilizing a standard zoned design approach, the space features clearly designated areas for each user group to support comfort, healing, and the delivery of care. The caregiver zone, located near the entrance, offers quick access from the decentralized nurse station just outside the suite, a handwash sink, in-room medical equipment, and charting surfaces—supporting efficient workflows and faster response times. At the center of the suite, the patient zone is designed to give the patient clear sightlines to the entire room, fostering a sense of awareness and connection. Its central location ensures proximity to both caregivers and guests, while access to natural light and outdoor views promotes healing and recovery. The family zone is positioned at the back of the suite to keep visitors out of the caregiver path while still providing a supportive environment for loved ones. Featuring the Offshore Sleepover and Pull Up Table, this zone offers flexible seating and work surfaces by day, and comfortable sleepover accommodations by night.nTogether, the room’s layout and furnishings reflect the principles of modern, patient-centered care, delivering both comfort and confidence in a state-of-the-art healing environment.
