Carolina, an OFS company, won the award for Best Booth at this year’s Environments for Aging Expo & Conference (EFA) held in August. EFA editors selected Carolina’s booth for its demonstrated innovation, functionality and overall aesthetics— which stood out among its peers at the conference.
The EFA team noted that Carolina received their vote for best booth design thanks to a display based on themes of inspiration, restoration and connection.
The booth, designed to emulate the shared spaces of senior living facilities, featured products such as Nineteen20 café tables, Elide café/dining chairs, Hide lounge, Seek loveseat, X&O occasional tables and the Rowen bookcase. Carolina also partnered with House of Hackney on the Flora Fantasia wallcovering.
Carolina creates spaces customized for each person in the continuum of care. This award is a testament to Carolina’s focus on human needs and creating spaces that support healing, restoration, inspiration, and connection, and the fundamental belief that thoughtful design has the power to improve lives.
In addition to this honor, OFS brands have won a string of awards, including VP of Research and Insights Doug Shapiro’s recognition as a HiP Leader Award recipient at NeoCon 2021 and Bryan Ashley’s Best Exhibit win at BDNY 2021.
