Bob and Anna Shaw had a vision to create a new type of hospital, a children’s institute that would allow children with differing abilities to feel comfortable, flourish, and reach their full potential. Together with ESarch and OFS, Hamilton Medical Center created a treehouse themed building complete with clinics, behavior health-specific entrances, classrooms, physical therapy, and sensory centers as well as treehouse themed details to inspire and invite children in. The building not only exemplifies a gorgeous architectural feat but provides a place where children and their families can feel comfortable amidst their health journey.
